About the company

We are currently in a continued expansion phase and are looking for an estimator for our headquarters in Stockholm. We are one of the leading players in civil engineering maintenance and planning of outdoor environments in Stockholm.

Since our start in 1973, we have been driven by the need for qualified earthworks. We have about 50 employees and our headquarters is located in Solna.

About the position

As an estimator, you will support the project team and production with tasks such as estimating, bidding, and planning.

Specific tasks:

• Perform administrative work.
• Prepare bid estimates and bid documentation.
• Prepare side bids and alternative estimates.
• Prepare and finalize contract documentation.
• Provide documentation and suggest timelines.
• Request quotes.
• Evaluate quotes.
• Be responsible for system management.

Qualifications

• At least post-secondary education in construction technology (or equivalent)
• Contract law
• Bidding experience
• Timelines
• Cost management
• Procurement
• Several years of experience working as an estimator in civil engineering.
• Preferred previous experience in the civil engineering industry.
• Desirable skills in Bluebeam, Map, and Excel.
• Knowledge of construction estimating software.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We also appreciate experience with larger business systems and scheduling programs.
